MEET THE MAKER

Hey Ya'll! So glad you are here. I'm Chelsea LaFitte, the founder/maker of Free To Roam.
Little bit about me. I live in Conroe, Texas. I have an extremely supportive husband of 25 yrs. He is my sounding board on ideas and business decisions. He helps to keep me grounded. We have 3 beautiful souls that we have raised. Our 20 years old son runs his own mobile tire business. So proud of him. We have a 23 year old son that works for our family business, LaFitte HVAC. He welcomed his first baby in October of 2025. A handsome little boy named Julian. Our oldest is a 28 year old daughter who has blessed us with our precious grand daughter. Mailee Rose (aka Punkin) is a 7 year old spunky girl. 

As the kids got older and needed me less, I needed to find something that I could create.  I started researching and studying candle making. After all, I was obsessed with candles. I was so intrigue with the process. It truly is a science. Soon I fell in love with it. My goal was to help create a clean burning candle that would not have all the dyes and additives that other candles have. I wanted a high quality and slow burning candle that would fill up your home. I put so much love into each candle I pour.

There has been lots of growth over the last few years. Many peaks and valleys. I know I am not finished growing yet. I am truly excited to see what 2026 has in store for my small business. Thank you for supporting me!
